Who Am I?
My name is Gabriella Hatch, I am newlywed, a wizard in the kitchen, avid New Girl watcher, and fitness enthusiast!
From the Beginning
Four years ago I was unhappy with the way I looked, but even more unhappy with the way I felt. I had done sports in high-school, but was never really passionate or dedicated to anything. I knew physical fitness was important, and always was doing something active with my body. But I never devoted myself to anything. I decided I wanted to start working out consistently, daily, and more seriously. Starting in my parent’s basement home gym; I got to work. Taking videos of myself, watching the footage back, and trying to make sure my form looked right. When I moved out, my journey skyrocketed.
My college had a free gym membership, so I started going there. It wasn’t long until I realized that I really loved going to the gym, and that it made me feel amazing.
After years of working out to try and appear smaller, I finally had my “aha” moment; and realized I didn’t want to look small-like someone I wasn’t. Fitness became a feeling and a lifestyle. I loved feeling strong and capable. I loved the strength my body was able to produce (I still do). My muscles were something I was proud to have. Fueling my body became a tool and not an excuse, a cripple, or a reason why I was feeling intolerable.
My nutrition became something I nurtured. I often think of a quote from the Disney movie Ratatouille; “If you are what you eat, then I only want the good stuff.” As supersillious as where this quote came from, it resonates with me. My body is a gift, and food is a tool where I can fuel and help my body.
Because of my passion for this lifestyle, I started to share it with those I loved. When they reciprocated how amazing it was for them, I got giddy. The realization hit that I want to help as many individuals as I can, because this is something that is beautiful and exciting!
What’s the Difference?
Let’s not sugar-coat it, there are thousands of online programs you can buy and follow. The unfortunate reality behind them is that- they are all generalized programs that only had to be made one time and are sold for high profit. These kinds of programs don’t take into account you. Fitness is such a personal journey & experience, and it should be treated as such; especially when it comes to programing for your needs, wants, and desires.
The benefit of personalized 1-on-1 training is heavy. With individual programming, you also know your coach on a personal level, as well as them knowing you on a personal level… The impact this alone has is astounding. Needless to mention that 1-on-1 coaching guarantees a coach with a license, knowledge, and experience. Generalized influencer programs simply cannot give you that.
